Payment Platform Responsibilities
User Responsibility for Customers, Payments, and Compliance
By creating or using a WorkRate account, you acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for your own customers, client relationships, products, services, invoices, taxes, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, payment obligations, and business compliance.
If you use Stripe, Stripe Connect, invoice checkout, payment links, or any payment-related feature through WorkRate, you are responsible for complying with Stripe's terms, onboarding requirements, restricted business rules, dispute processes, refund obligations, tax obligations, customer support obligations, and any laws or regulations that apply to your business, services, customers, and transactions.
WorkRate provides software tools for client operations, invoicing workflows, and payment connection workflows. WorkRate does not become responsible for your customers, your delivered products or services, your taxes, your refund decisions, your chargebacks, your disputes, your payment processor compliance, or your connected Stripe account obligations.
